skybreaker review submitted by bballbobtkd9 on July 26, 2011, 6:34pm This book was full of suspense, action, drama and mystery. It is a perfect book for teenagers and Kenneth Oppel will have them begging for the next one.

Awesome submitted by Memoria1224 on August 9, 2011, 3:04pm This is a great book! It has a lot of action in it.

next adventure for Airborn stars submitted by camelsamba on August 3, 2017, 9:15pm Another rollicking steampunk-ish adventure tale starring Matt Cruse and Kate de Vries. This time they are involved in a high-altitude salvage mission, with potential riches for Matt and zoological specimens for Kate.

The drawbacks of this book are similar to those of the first in the series: lots of plot twists just when you think they should be done, and an annoying love triangle (quadrangle? maybe pentagon if we include Marjorie and Hal? although Marjorie would probably never lower herself to such a commoner). But the plot twist count is lower than in Airborn so not quite as annoying.
