When artists meet other artists who play uniquely submitted by ccrose on August 10, 2019, 11:59pm The story goes that Bob Dylan wound up at Big Pink after a motorcycle accident that did some damage so he wanted to be out of the public eye but still hanging out with cool musicians.
So there was a lot of riffing off each other. I especially love how the Band guys put that lick of twang in vocals and instruments. Levon Helm put a little bounce in between notes so there was a loose-jointed feel. I love that. . And Dylan moves in that direction too. Wonderful chemistry!!
