I love the Wheel of Time series but for a while getting through the books was hard work. This book was not hard work to get through but a real joy. This is Robert Jordan writing at his finest. So many of the threads that he had masterfully woven throughout the first 10 books were gathered together in this one and brought into a beautiful tapestry.
If you enjoyed the first 5-6 books but had a hard time getting through the next few, it is worth it to continue just to get to this book
