Like Now, But with Bad Songs That Weren't Hits submitted by Meginator on August 21, 2021, 8:12am Totally Hits seems to be an off-brand Now That’s What I Call Music, a compilation of pop, rock, and rap songs from 2005 that gives a decent overall picture of what was going on in pop radio at the time without including many of the year’s most massive hits- in fact, a surprising number of these aren’t even on the Billboard Year-End Hot 100! In this way, it’s almost more interesting than a typical Now album, because so much of it is a discovery of sorts, but in most cases these songs remain obscure for good reason, and if you’re not already a fan of the artists involved (for my part, I was happy to find a solid Simple Plan song I don’t remember) this album is totally skippable.
