Azzarello's take on Constantine submitted by Pumpkinscones on July 14, 2013, 4:45pm I'm not taken with Azzarello's run. I've read a lot of his work and enjoy it, but I still think Constantine is done best when written by someone from the U.K. Constantine in this instance is in jail, but is never really in any danger. There's no demons, except for the ones the prisoners have created for themselves. I would definitely not recommend this for anyone new to Hellblazer - go back to his beginnings or the Ennis run.
