Chasing the Waves submitted by Meginator on June 28, 2017, 9:06pm I watched this shortly after watching the original Endless Summer, and it provides an interesting point of comparison. It was particularly intriguing to see how some of the places featured in the first film have changed during the intervening years, and even more remarkable to see some of the original surfers still at it decades later. The film features the same dry humor as its predecessor, emphasizing the fact that this is a film by surfers for surfers; the rest of us are merely observers. Despite this, the film has no pretenses and is welcoming to all viewers who have an interest in the sport. Highly recommended; it's at the pinnacle of surfing films for a reason.
