Love Foyle's War submitted by sarafree on June 27, 2011, 12:32pm This is one of the best British mystery series ever. I have seen every episode. They take great care to get the historical accuracy of the times just right. The characters are compelling and the stories are just superb. Highly recommend that you see that all!

Foyles, fantastic. submitted by OKH34 on July 4, 2011, 1:52pm If you are reading this, go and get this disk, or any other disk with foyles war! As the preceding reveuw said, it's amazingly accurate, it covers the key elements of the ear SO WELL, and it isn't a dull documentary. I love mystery, and this combines history (which I also find quite intriguing) with mystery, and it is done so well. Anyway, spread the word.

A good start... submitted by GJBarnett2 on July 1, 2014, 9:15am ... to a great series.

Needs captions submitted by acm on August 28, 2016, 10:59am There is no close captioning here. I could follow some of the dialogue without it, but I lost at least half of what Foyle said. I ended up just giving up.

Great series submitted by teri on August 9, 2018, 11:32pm We've watched the entire series. Sometimes gritty, sometimes tragic. Everything is both well researched, and historically accurate. Superb acting. A good dash of humor (often supplied by Foyles' "driver", played by Honeysuckle Weeks) helps to smooth out the serious tone.
