good movie submitted by jszchen on August 22, 2011, 8:12pm It is a little unusual how the animals come out of nowhere in the game, but it was enjoyable to watch.

jumanji submitted by honordenver on June 21, 2012, 6:34pm this movie is pretty good its kind of stupid how alan parish {robin willams} still acts like a little boy after 26 years i mean i thought he'd be more mature

wired submitted by mohkaba on July 13, 2012, 10:38am scary animals

Amazing submitted by cowmooflage on August 12, 2014, 8:30am Love this movie

ages well submitted by pamhockey25 on July 9, 2018, 11:05pm Jumanji is fun, although a little dated. Not Robin Williams best film, but fun to see how this was originally handled.

Great Family Movie submitted by SadieRose on August 5, 2018, 10:06am We introduced our 8-year old to the original and she loved it. Some parts may be scary for younger than 8. Better than the remake.

Great movie! submitted by Cherrytreelane on August 14, 2018, 12:15am Lots of fun, adventure & imagination! May be a bit scary/intense for younger children but highly recommend for older kids through adults!

A Gem submitted by lstorc on August 28, 2018, 9:14am This is a fantastic adventure with a great inclusion of animals via special effects. This will continue to be a family fun movie for the foreseeable future.

Jumanji!! submitted by Varshini on July 3, 2019, 8:12pm Anything Robin Williams acts in turns out great. It's really too bad that he's not around anymore... T-T

A Classic submitted by asrecker on July 8, 2019, 10:00am I loved this movie as a kid, and am happy to say it has held up over time. Action packed, funny, a little scary.

Jumanji submitted by kkellis on July 9, 2020, 8:40pm A classic - just watched this with my kids (6 and 8) and they loved it! They love board games and enjoyed watching one come to life!

Still good 25 years later submitted by jcottey on August 10, 2020, 7:20pm Some differences in plot of course from the book, but still an entertaining movie. Even 25 years later, it holds up well. The visual effects aren't quite as realistic as current movies, but they were still good. Maybe a little too scary for very young kids, but a good movie to watch as a family.

It's ok, but not great submitted by MikkiMoscara on July 18, 2023, 11:08am The book is so good, and I felt the movie was all over the place and not that great. I love Robin Williams, but probably one of my least favorite Robin Williams movies. It's also kind of slow.
