Monty Python-esque? submitted by camelsamba on June 19, 2014, 1:22pm If you start reading this book thinking it is the print edition of the movie "Pirates: Band of Misfits", you might be disappointed. It is much more crass and less appropriate for young/middle grade kids compared to the movie. I haven't watched much Monty Python, but I suspect this would appeal to people who enjoy that style of humor. My 13yo read all the books in this series that we were able to get from the library, while I stopped at this one.
