The Best Silent Movie submitted by Chris82 on July 28, 2011, 8:04pm This is one of the best silent movies ever made and one of the best romantic comedies ever made. The story revolves around a man who joins the circus and falls for girl also working there. It also has one of the saddest endings to any movie I've ever seen. Its a great first movie for someone who's never seen a silent film before.

Charlie's Tramp character finds himself at a circus where he is promptly gets chased around by the police who think he is a pickpocket. Running into the bigtop, he is an accidental sensation with his hilarious efforts to elude the police."
