COMMUNITY REVIEWS

This book is amazing submitted by Joe on June 21, 2011, 3:32pm I am not much of a literary reader. Its cool, but I tend to enjoy standard paperback fiction. That being said I find this book to be wonderful. About a sleepy little fishing community in Maine and the love of family through generations. I think what I really appreciated about this book was how there was so much wisdom and insight packed into the prose. I would suggest that anyone looking for a an adult book that deals with emotions and feelings and how to articulate them would enjoy this.

Loved this book! submitted by dmcphar on July 26, 2013, 1:34pm Loved this book! Each chapter is its own short story, all woven together, traveling back and forth through time. Dialogue writing is excellent. Hated coming to the end, but couldn't stop reading til I was done! Will read his first book now.
