batman's awesome! submitted by nasuaada on July 26, 2011, 7:29am batman's awesome!
Classic storyline, elements still used in recent stories submitted by valjean on August 20, 2018, 2:18pm Solaris the Tyrant Sun (what a fantastic name) makes its first appearance in this story, set in the 853rd century. It's called DC 1,000,000 because if the comics contained had never reset numbered or missed an issue, they would reach their 1 millionth issue somewhere in ~85200+ A.D. The settings and characters in it are really fantastic and imaginative. It's pretty cool to see hyper-evolved heroes, even if the plot lines themselves aren't that special. As an added 'bonus', all the things involving Solaris and Superman tie directly into the All-Star Superman miniseries, which is also an animated movie, but only the comics are available at the AADL.
