COMMUNITY REVIEWS

Genetic engineering; a moral dilema. submitted by cains on July 11, 2008, 11:32am Eli is a likeable main character with a chip on his shoulder. High-tech bioengineering technology provides a back-drop for this story a Eli struggles with family illness, high school graduation, and relationship problems.
Not everything in his life is as it seems, but Eli has an opportunity to make decisions that will chart his future course in life.
This is a fast-paced tale about transitioning into adulthood with a little science/thriller thrown in. The wrap up at the end was a little hurried, but all in all a good read. It is the only YA fiction I have come across that deals with Huntington's disease.
