Kid favorite submitted by crazypockets on July 24, 2013, 1:22pm This was one that my friends and I watched a lot as kids. It's so absurd, but I think it was the mermaid aspect that hooked us. It has a good cast though including Eugene Levy and John Candy. It's a fun fantasy movie from the 80s, and it also proves the origin of the name "Madison" for girls...something that still amuses me to this day.
