Still funny after all these years! submitted by ssmyth on June 26, 2013, 8:34am This is a holiday classic in our family. We still laugh and laugh when we see it! Carol Kane is great!
Lumpy submitted by crazypockets on July 24, 2013, 1:08pm This might be my favorite "A Christmas Carol" adaptation. Bill Murray is so delightfully horrible as a TV executive who makes his network do a live television broadcast on Christmas Eve. The ghosts he encounters are the best, though. The ghost of Christmas present makes me laugh every time because who doesn't want to smack Murray in the face with a toaster at that point? The "burial" scene still freaks me out, but it does just what the story was meant to do. It's spooky and disturbing, and it'll teach the lesson all while making you laugh.
Best Christmas movie ever submitted by Helengio on August 24, 2023, 9:51am Absolutely hilarious
Viewed now, its age is showing.

After 35 years, it may be time to try to do a really good remake of a modern version of "A Xmas Carol".
A BELIEVABLE one, with no silly Hollywood exaggeration.
