So So office horror story submitted by irenzero on April 29, 2008, 12:44pm I really was expecting more, after having enjoyed the previous efforts by James Hynes.... with a few exceptions this book really left me flat and reminded me that I need to re-read Resume with Monsters by William Spencer which covers the surreal world of the modern work place with more energy and a better sense of the madness at the maze of cube land. That said there was one great passage in which Hynes describes the local Library book sale…. However it is obvious to me that he was really talking about the Friends of the Library book sale at the Ann Arbor District Library. Over all I think you are better off revisiting the Lecturers Tale first and then if you are so moved to go ahead and read this one.
