So So office horror story submitted by irenzero on April 29, 2008, 12:44pm I really was expecting more, after having enjoyed the previous efforts by James Hynes.... with a few exceptions this book really left me flat and reminded me that I need to re-read Resume with Monsters by William Spencer which covers the surreal world of the modern work place with more energy and a better sense of the madness at the maze of cube land. That said there was one great passage in which Hynes describes the local Library book saleā¦. However it is obvious to me that he was really talking about the Friends of the Library book sale at the Ann Arbor District Library. Over all I think you are better off revisiting the Lecturers Tale first and then if you are so moved to go ahead and read this one.
