Great dark comedy-romance submitted by illy on July 31, 2013, 12:30pm John Cusack plays a hit-man, who in the middle of a life crisis, decides to head home to attend his high school reunion. Great setup for a dark comedy, supported by Joan Cusack and Dan Ackroyd. The movie also has a romance thrown in, which works quite well. And the film has many scenes shot in Grosse Point, for a Michigan connection.

gpb submitted by a2sue on August 30, 2013, 12:11am grosse pointe blank is one of my favorite films. it has romance, comedy, and action. there were a significant number of scenes filmed in the metro detroit area, so that's fun too. and this film has a fabulous soundtrack with lots of great 80s tunes. what's not to love?
