COMMUNITY REVIEWS

Colorful Patterns - complicated Artist submitted by jgetty on August 25, 2015, 10:10am I went to a building where there were many Mark Rothko paintings on the walls. I like the colors and simple patterns. I decided to check out some library books to learn about Mark Rothko. I was very surprised to read that he was a complicated man with a tragic ending. It kind of affects how I see his art now - not as cheerful as I used to think, and I'm sorry to feel that way now.
