PHENOMENAL submitted by alistair on May 6, 2007, 11:14am Few other words can describe this recording! I was told this was the best recording of Beethoven's Fifth and was not disappointed. The finale to Symphony 5 is the best thing I've ever heard froma CD. The only thing that could be improved upon is the tempo in some parts of the first movement of Symphony 5. Maestro Bernstein is truly amazing and this shows it. This recording makes getting a good set of speakers truly worthwhile.
