COMMUNITY REVIEWS
Dark Comedy submitted by crazypockets on July 23, 2013, 12:20pm This movie is strangely really really good. The story is unconventional, and it likes it that way. It follows a young man who is being pulled in different directions by his family and his own preference for dark humor that no one around him seems to understand. He meets Maude, an older woman who teaches him that he's just fine the way he is and that he's allowed to not take life as seriously as everyone else is telling him to. They wind up in a very odd romance that is pretty disturbing, but the ending complete with feel-good Cat Stevens music gets me every time.
H&M submitted by a2sue on July 23, 2017, 5:30am Harold & Maude is definitely unconventional, and that's one of it's best strengths! I rather enjoy things that are off the beaten path, and if you do too, you should definitely check this film out.
