Dark Comedy

This movie is strangely really really good. The story is unconventional, and it likes it that way. It follows a young man who is being pulled in different directions by his family and his own preference for dark humor that no one around him seems to understand. He meets Maude, an older woman who teaches him that he's just fine the way he is and that he's allowed to not take life as seriously as everyone else is telling him to. They wind up in a very odd romance that is pretty disturbing, but the ending complete with feel-good Cat Stevens music gets me every time.
