The best book I have ever read submitted by rzurier on August 21, 2007, 8:09pm I picked up this book in a bookstore, primarily because the cat on the front cover looked like my cat. I proceeded to read the book and after about 12 pages I was hooked. Since then, I have read all of the books in the series, (so far) and eagerly waiting for the next book. I HIGHLY reccomend this series.

5 Stars for Warriors submitted by clevleit on May 12, 2008, 11:09am I began this book as just a reading asignment for school, but after reading just the first couple pages I was sucked into the book. I would finish one chapter and decide to go on getting farther into the book everytime, but then I get to the end and it's over. Thankfully Erin Hunter has wrote more in the series that I am looking forward to reading. I like to share this book with my two cats. Pretending that the cats in the book are the two warriors sleeping at my feet.

Warriors RULZ!!! submitted by jinyoungkim2 on January 12, 2010, 3:17pm I wondered why my friend was so into this book, but when I started reading, I was hooked! I couldn't stop reading. I requested every book in the series and renewed them over and over again to read again. Now I have read every book in the series. But the weird thing is, now I started acting like them!

cool!!!!! submitted by llgosbee on December 7, 2010, 6:01pm The book is awesome! I started reading the power of the three and loved it! So I went back and read this series!- Katie, 5th grade

Great Hook submitted by baifamily2 on June 25, 2011, 10:54am This book hooks the reader into the series after the first few words. When one of my friend started to read this book, he finished it without stopping. It took him 2.5 hours(maybe less).

Loved It <3 submitted by bluefire325 on June 25, 2011, 4:45pm I asked my friend if I could read this book after he finished. I guess he never got interested in it which i find impossible. A few days later I forgot alll about this book. Then I saw it in a book store and picked it up and started reading. I instantly got hooked and read the whole series so far. I now own all the books. Happy Hunting! :)

Amazing Series submitted by tree64 on July 15, 2011, 3:44pm This is a really good series, and I'm still following it right now. This books makes you want to read the rest of the books in the series. You should definitely read it. This series was very cleverly written, and you get to see everything from a cat's point of view. It really opens your eyes to the fact that what humans are doing to nature is hurting other species.

Awesome submitted by Memoria1224 on July 15, 2011, 3:52pm This book is an excellent start for the series.

Really Good! submitted by aschulte on July 19, 2011, 3:05pm Really Good!

Into the Wild - Griffon's Thoughts submitted by squijum on July 21, 2011, 8:36am Rusty - Poof! Firepaw will become the leader, as you who have read the rest of the series know, and he will also become many a fan's favorite character. But I predict (I must be some sort of medecine cat) that Firestar will die in Omen of the Stars, the latest "link" series in warriors. :'(
Here is the awesome Warriors website: www.warriorcats.com copy to the address space and explore Erin Hunter's world! (also there are three fun games to play, videos to watch, FAQ's, and a forum!!!!)

Outstanding submitted by comet on June 17, 2014, 9:51am A really good book! I can't wait to find out what's going to happen next!

Reread submitted by lollycandy on August 12, 2014, 8:29pm I reread this book today and remembered all the enjoyment of going through the adventures with cats and some of the frustration of not being able to find all the books in the library at the same time, because everyone is checking them out! It looks like the order of books in a series' is being labeled/updated in the catalog, which will at least make it easier to find which book is next.

This series is easy to read, filled with lots of details, and continues with many series afterwards that have different storylines, each told from different cats' points of view (which means you have more to read after finishing this first series). I found myself recalling some of the story lines that come after this book as I reread it. The author has great storytelling powers that hook you in. For example, the main character, Firepaw, is shunned by quite a few cats at first, which incites sympathy in you as the reader. Also, you get to learn how to be a "wild" cat for the first time along with Firepaw, which is a clever way of showing, not telling, how things work in this cat society. It doesn't hurt that imagining yourself as an animal is extremely fun.

SO COOL!!!!!!!!!! submitted by mia sanborn on June 11, 2015, 5:19pm This book is a awesome action packed series filled with surprise happiness funniness and awesomenes

Adventurous and mysterious submitted by cvsrihari123 on June 15, 2015, 9:00am extremely great!

Great submitted by kzheng on June 16, 2015, 9:07am A grand start to a terrific series. Erin hunter understands how to write with just enough details and excitement.

Into The Wild submitted by lgobrien on June 17, 2015, 7:16am Out of all the series of Warriors, I liked the first series the best. Into The Wild starts the series off great! Erin Hunter fans should also try Seekers and Survivors, other series she wrote.

Well Written submitted by yzhang60 on June 18, 2015, 7:06pm Rusty changes from a house cat to a ferocious warrior cat in such a short amount of time. He is and interesting character and shows a lot of character development. This book gives the reader a taste of what it feels like to be fighting over territory and food. The book also shows the rivalry between the clans and the friendship between clanmates. Overall, it was an enjoyable book to read.

Awesome Book! submitted by xiaomeiliu on July 8, 2015, 7:57pm Great start for the Warriors series

Good submitted by Midnight on July 9, 2015, 5:13pm It's the first book. It's very good for elementary school students.

Awesome submitted by avanlav on June 18, 2016, 2:38pm Into the Wild is a great opening for a huge four-series saga. I read this series what feels like a million years ago, in the start of second grade. I had just gotten a cat, my family's very first pet, and when Rusty left his home, it made me cry (although I later realized that my cat was too old and lazy to join a Clan) because I was worried that my cat would run away. I could not put this book down and continued on to the end of the last book in Omen of the Stars. For some reason, this book reminded me of Harry Potter, with the four Clans being like the four houses (ThunderClan - Gryffindor, ShadowClan - Slytherin, WindClan - Hufflepuff, and RiverClan - Ravenclaw) and Firepaw, Graypaw, and Sandpaw being like Harry, Ron, and Hermione respectively. I would recommend this to a cat lover who's into anthropomorphic animals and adventure.

Great series submitted by Momellar on July 18, 2016, 1:14pm I read it out loud every night. It is an incredibly detailed book and my kids love it. :3

Great Book for Kids submitted by KJRULEZ on July 25, 2016, 9:19pm I loved this book and this series as a child. Though later the series got sort of repetitive, the first six books were great. There's a certain "epic" feel to these books.

book/series submitted by KlezmerGirl on July 27, 2016, 3:35pm This s an awesome book!! I suggest it to all, everyone who I know that has read it and others look forward to reading it simply because of what they hear about it.

this book leads you into the warriors series with suspense and wonder, Its amazing

The warriors series: all about cats and they're life in the wild, one complaint, I mean ONE no others; do cats normally live in clans? well, thats beside the point, it doesn't have to be realistic, it fiction!!
One great thing about Warriors: there still being written! and there are already lots of them!! I personally LOVE reading, and I'm very fast at it, so these books not only are fun to read, they also feed a certain hunger I have, enjoy!

Great submitted by lunamoon on July 10, 2017, 11:28am loved the book and the rest of the series

OMG submitted by RNRichmonds on June 21, 2018, 3:49pm BEST BOOK EVER ALLWAYS HATED IT BEFORE BUT WHEN I RED IT OMGGGGGG SO GOOD

Suchh a classic! submitted by Smileyfrowns on August 18, 2018, 12:53am I love being introduced to Firepaw and his foray into the lives of the clans! The first book truly draws you in and you become very invested in the characters.

The Start to One of My Favorite Series submitted by dntanzer on August 30, 2018, 11:34am The Warriors Series is one of my absolute favorites. I grew reading and rereading these books until I knew everything about them. They're exciting, interesting, and at the time, they were different from the other books geared at my age group. They have such a great blend of interesting characters, gripping plot, and a sense of place. Highly recommended to kids and young adults and even adults who want to relive their childhood!

Pretty good submitted by beepboop on June 11, 2021, 11:23am I enjoyed it. The names are awesome. Wasn't my favorite in the series.

5 star ⭐️ submitted by jtatsak on August 2, 2021, 7:30pm In my opinion, I think this book was a great start of the series. I like when the fight broke out with long tail and rusty and how raven paw left. In all, 5 stars.

my honest opinion (iv'e read all the books) submitted by blue77rose on June 9, 2023, 9:48pm This is my honest opinion, the first time i read the book i really liked it but in the prologue they really didn't explain much about anything and it was all very confusing. Like how am i supposed to know what Starclan is?! they didn't explain that! or how the clans formed, they just jumped into the "amazing" rusty! he reminds me of shaggy from scooby doo. smart but pretty dumb. They didn't talk about clan rules or kittypets. So i would highly recommend reading "dawn of the clans" first or "Mothflights vision". But i love how in i think the first chapter its bloody and there's a war thats probably my fav thing about warriors. i also like how they have really cool ancestors! like who else has that? and spirit cats that come down to fight with the clans?! and there's also the dark forest? like how cool is that!? overall i give the first book 3.5 stars for lack of explanation. Happy reading!

BEST BOOK SERIES EVER submitted by Hanh Bui on June 15, 2023, 6:20pm I love it and have read the entire series!! Its a little bit dark tho
