Mixed feelings submitted by mdfalb on July 14, 2014, 4:43pm My 2.5 year old didn't like this too much. I had mixed feelings myself. Many of the stories answer questions about "why x" but I find them disingenuous. Maybe some people enjoy these kinds of stories to help (supposedly) explain the world to children, but I'd prefer fictional stories that are obviously such to those that claim to explain things, but really don't. For instance one story tells why donkeys stand in the road when cars approach, whereas goats run, but it's all pretty silly. Some of the stories are better and don't do this, but many do. Of course, this is just my preference
