Doc Brown has decided to live in the Old West of the 1880's. But when he's in danger of meeting an untimely end, Marty travels back into the past to rescue him. There's just one problem: Doc is so smitten by a schoolteacher that he's become distracted. Now, it's up to Marty to keep Doc out of trouble, get the DeLorean running, and put the past, present and future on track so they can all get back to where and when they belong.

COMMUNITY REVIEWS
Doc's Turn submitted by Jan Wolter on July 7, 2013, 9:58pm I love this whole trilogy, but this final version delights me because Doc, the crazy sidekick character, is suddenly the romantic lead. Go Doc!
History Shock submitted by crazypockets on July 26, 2013, 7:25pm I really enjoyed this last movie in the trilogy mostly for the way it contrasts the ideas people had in the 50s about the way things worked in the past. Or for that matter, what we would think of the past. It's really fun to imagine being taken in by your great great grandparents and sitting down to dinner with them...until you think about what color their water would be. Anyway, this is just a fun adventure in general.
bttf part 3 submitted by a2sue on August 10, 2013, 7:30am this is my second favorite film in the back to the future trilogy. it was fun to see doc have a love interest!
Back to the future submitted by leenajong on July 12, 2015, 6:05pm Classic movie!
Fun submitted by rgaller on July 23, 2016, 4:07pm My personal favorite of the three.
back to the future part 3 submitted by Sherly on August 29, 2018, 12:41pm it was funny and kind of weird and kind of violent.
Better than part 2 for me

Why is Lea Thompson in the old west as a McFly? She married into the McFly family when she got with George in the 1950's as her maiden nane is Baines, so if Marty also had an ancester who looked like his mom that would mean that his great great grandmother is his mom's great grandmother and they're related as more than just mother and son. Eww.
Still like this better than part 2 and Thomas F. Wilson is great in all these movies and deserved a much bigger career.
Good submitted by TLW1998 on June 25, 2022, 10:51pm A good third movie about time travel starring Michael J Fox.
