COMMUNITY REVIEWS
Timeless Comedy submitted by rebouleto on November 28, 2010, 12:53pm This classic series has wide appeal. I remember watching it with my grandpa as a kid, both of us loving it. I recently rewatched it with my boyfriend (20 years later) and it's still that good. John Cleese is a master of physical comedy, and he was truly a wildman as Basil Fawlty. I highly recommend this series, especially to lovers of British comedy. Most of the episodes are hilarious, but be sure not to miss "The Germans."
Great in small doses submitted by fremont on July 22, 2011, 11:49pm Definitely agree with the review above. I love this show, and it's certainly a classic. Cleese's performance is very high-strung energy, so I like watching this in small doses!
Fawlty Towers submitted by Fevvers - STAR473 on August 10, 2015, 7:16pm One of my favorite Brit-coms, driven by Monty Python alum John Cleese but the rest of the cast is absolutely as funny and integral to making it all work. Watching Basil Fawlty (Cleese) gradually fall to pieces over the course of an episode is hilarious. "Basil the Rat" was my favorite from when I first saw it as a kid, but whatever you do, don't miss "The Germans"!
Comic gold submitted by blue77rose on July 19, 2018, 8:20pm One of my favorite series! John Cleese is hilarious.
Unparalleled submitted by lstorc on August 31, 2018, 10:38pm The series is on matched and it's wit, charm, and storylines.
