A berry good book! submitted by slugwhisperer on August 6, 2013, 8:43am Actually, this is a berry good book!

ALMOST all about berries submitted by FordAlpha on July 7, 2018, 10:25pm This is a picture book about various kinds of berries, including a wide range of edible and inedible berries that kids might not have heard of before. From a botanical standpoint, a major drawback is that strawberries and blackberries, raspberries, etc. are included without mentioning that they are not true berries (they are actually accessory and aggregate fruits). The illustrations are appealing and the text is accessible.
