Moving submitted by crazypockets on July 16, 2013, 1:31pm I tend to like to watch this movie around Easter time just because it gets me thinking. It's a beautiful telling of the Christ story and contrasts his life alongside the struggles of Judas. The singing is absolutely mind-blowing, especially on Judas' end. I really like the starkness of the desert scenes and having the movie filmed in places where these people really lived. It really brings the history full-circle. I think it's an honest and touching look at the lives of two men who really cared about each other.
