COMMUNITY REVIEWS

a classic for all ages submitted by manz on June 30, 2011, 9:34am I love this book! It makes me happy every time I read it. It's also a nice little book to give to others. Afterall, all grown-ups were once children.

Fantastic submitted by Maria Maguire on July 7, 2012, 12:25am This book is sad, cute, and happy all in one. It was really entertaining and I loved reading it. It's a great book and I'd suggest it to anyone.

Classic submitted by 0liviap0pp on July 12, 2013, 11:41am This is such a classic book..you can read it again and again and never get tired of it.

It's Not A Hat submitted by Jan Wolter on July 26, 2013, 10:59am When there are millions of roses in the world and millions of stars in the heavens, how can you love just one? The Little Prince finds the answer to this perplexing problem and many others in this book about the power of friendship and imagination, of childhood and adulthood, but not of growing up. This can be read to children, but should not be mistaken for a children's book. You haven't read it, until you've read it as an adult.

Still love submitted by pooh on July 31, 2016, 2:07pm I loved this book as a child and I recently read it again as an adult. It is a beautiful story.

Cool submitted by Claireywang on August 19, 2016, 9:16pm The introduction was hooking and was happy/sad. The middle was a story so polished and good that I'll never forget it.

So beautiful submitted by terpsichore17 on July 25, 2017, 2:14pm A tremendously succinct heartbreak. The story of the little prince examines, among other things, the nature of love (to care for someone, to sit beside them, to become accustomed to their presence and reminded of them in their absence); how children see and how that clarity of vision tends to get distorted by adulthood; and how the beautiful can be so sad at the same time.

The LP submitted by crp on August 6, 2019, 1:04am You are responsible for those you create ties with - my favorite line of this book

A Beautiful Book submitted by callmeavni on July 20, 2020, 1:04pm This book is probably my favorite of all time. The language is simple, but the message is profound. And there is no single message; I get something different out of it each time I read it. The innocent character of the prince is a break from all of the monotony of the world. I think that everyone should read this at least once. Despite the fact that it is a children's book, it rings true for all ages.

The little prince submitted by angie. on July 21, 2021, 7:54pm such a great book for everyone to read!

Magic through and through submitted by suttonp on August 15, 2022, 2:33pm This was required reading in my French class in college and I was amazed at the beauty of the language and poignancy of the story. I'm sorry it took so long for me to read.

Sorry... submitted by Steve Amick on August 28, 2022, 9:38pm ...but this is a book you have to sit through and nod along only for the sake of a hot girl you're hoping to impress. Otherwise, no.

Magical Book submitted by MikkiMoscara on June 17, 2023, 11:25am I've read this book in French and English. It's so incredibly magical and moving. The personification of the rose and the adventures, truly embody what it is to be human. Highly recommended for children and adults.
