Fey submitted by Fevvers - STAR473 on July 18, 2015, 12:01am Full of chimes and haunting lyrics, this album as a whole manages to be a joy to listen to, even to relax to. It is sensual, gentle, fey, and ethereal. I heard the song "Pagan Poetry" on its own first and liked it a lot, but I didn't really expect to thoroughly enjoy a whole Bjork album - but this one really charmed me.

Fantastic submitted by EJZ on August 3, 2018, 8:47pm I think, start to finish, Vespertine is really a jewel. Some of the tracks use a musicbox to great effect. The little chimes make the whole album feel as if it's been crafted to experience alone, in a quiet space. It's about truth and beauty.

Predictably Weird Yet Still Good submitted by Meginator on August 21, 2021, 9:59am This album isn’t the type of music that I generally enjoy, but I appreciate Björk’s careful crafting of sounds to complement her ethereal vocals. The whole album has a sense of fleetingness and lightness to it, which enhances the experience, and it is best listened to deliberately, with few distractions.
