The Sixties

This book is a great insight into the politics and daily lives of people in the sixties , the Vietnam era. The different stories are all connected only by the characters' history, but are each very different in nature. The first story is supernatural, and to me the most interesting one. Like many of Stephen King's works, it portrays the psychology of children's minds.
The second deals with college student lives and the protests. The third and fourth are based on the lives of the war veterans. One begs for money for a living, and one has a successful business, and yet both are haunted by the demons of their past. The final story is where the lives and deaths of the characters converge.
