Intriguing submitted by Abbeypeach on June 18, 2017, 7:21pm I have just finished the book "Page", which was written by Tamora Pierce. I loved this book because it took a real life problem, sexism, and made a fun, fictional story about it. This book shows how a girl stands up to men and in the end, gets what she wants. It inspires young women to be what they want to be, no matter who tells you you can't. I highly recommend that all pre-teens read this book. They won't be disappointed, but instead, inspired. I don't doubt that Tamora Pierce will continue to inspire me throughout the rest of her series. Once you finish reading this book, I also recommend you write a review to let others know how amazing "Page" is and how astonishing Tamora Pierce is.

I re-read this book regularly and it only gets more timely. As another reviewer said, it is about how a girl stands up to men--and its also about how a girl stands with another girl, even though they have different strengths. Keladry is a model for all women and girls struggling in a sexist culture, expressing a strong sense of justice, fairness and holding true to her values.
