Dangerous and pseudoscientific
submitted by GCFB SHOP666 on August 9, 2019, 11:51am
On almost every page of this book, there are obviously false claims, such as "all disease is caused by the reactive mind" (the supposed part of the mind that records pain, suffering, and other unpleasant experiences during periods of unconsciousness and that can have its memories be activated, causing disease), and says that they can be easily proven and have been many times. One part of the book has two paragraphs listing many different diseases that are supposedly caused by the reactive mind.
Considering that the author of this book, L. Ron Hubbard, repeatedly said things like "If a man really wants to make a million dollars, the best way would be to start his own religion", and he started a pseudoreligious cult (Scientology) that requires payments of hundreds of thousands of dollars for members to learn the secrets of the so-called religion, is based on science fiction (he was a science fiction author), and claims that religious freedom gives it the right to force its members to do very hard work for very little pay (approximately $50/week for working 16 hours/day 7 days/week), there is no reason to think that any part of this book contains even the slightest bit of truth.
