COMMUNITY REVIEWS

monsterous submitted by tomiwa on July 5, 2011, 11:29am All about bigfoot!

Very mysterious submitted by sambenk424 on July 10, 2011, 10:44am This set of books is very mysterious and very exciting. Zack is very outgoing and has a taste of adventure. All of these stories are a great way to pass the time.

Racist! submitted by brenna.reichman on August 14, 2020, 10:46pm This book is full of racist references to Native people. From the name of the camp, calling the camp cabins teepees, and the racial slurs referring to the counselors as chiefs and squaws. And none of this at all added to the story or the plot line. I know nothing about this series other than this book, but after reading this to my son, I will not be reading any others. The only thing this book did was give me another gateway to discussing racism and cultural appropriation with my child.
