Beautiful submitted by asopijw65 on August 4, 2014, 8:37pm What you can expect from Neil Gaiman. Interesting and lovely. What really made this great was the Amano art. Absolutely gorgeous.
Not like the other Sandman issues submitted by valjean on August 26, 2018, 11:19am The style of Gaiman is slightly different, maybe to incorporate Amano's artwork better, but it's still a great book. What makes it cool is that it is a special collaboration between Yoshitaka Amano and Neil Gaiman, Amano's art is breathtaking and famous. A western fan might recognize his art from various anime, like Vampire Hunter D, or video games, like the Final Fantasy series. Another thing to note is this volume is extremely short, and out of continuity with the other Sandman books. It's a self-contained brief jaunt into the Sandman universe, definitely pick it up even if you have never read Sandman before.
