The life story of pumpkins submitted by FordAlpha on July 9, 2018, 1:36pm This picture book presents information on the life cycle, parts, and cultural uses of pumpkins, similar to the information found in other Gail Gibbons books, such as From Seed to Plant, Apples, and the Berry Book, but focusing specifically on pumpkins. It is nicely done and worth including during the pumpkin season, but overall not the most outstanding of Gibbons's plant-related picture books.

The Pumpkin Book submitted by SBNB on July 2, 2020, 9:49pm This is a great picture book about kinds of pumpkins, how they are grown, their history, and also the history of Halloween. There’s a small pumpkin carving guide at the end too. We loved it!
