I hated this
submitted by marielle on July 6, 2012, 12:42am
I absolutely hated this book.
This woman thinks that drawing how you think labor is supposed to be is helpful for getting through labor. Consequently the book is littered with the pitiful artwork drawn by expectant parents, who should be ashamed that they graduated high school without ever mastering anything beyond the stick figure or the circle with dots for eyes.
I don't think there's a single useful piece of advice about labor in this book.
Highly Recommend submitted by CGBeautiful on August 8, 2014, 3:55pm This book offers lots of perspectives and ideas on how to think about pregnancy and labor. It offers lots of suggestions on pregnancy art to help you become more confident, which I did not read these parts too carefully. But I did enjoy the pregnancy-positive drawings throughout the book, as well as the general ideas the author offers. The ideas are unique and this book is awesome! Check it out and see if it is your kind of book or not.
