COMMUNITY REVIEWS

The best of the 90s submitted by Pumpkinscones on July 9, 2013, 7:08pm Yankovic was already pretty famous by the time this album came out but I think this remains his best. That's probably due to the fact that every song he parodied was around just as I discovered pop music but I stand by my poorly worded conviction. Amish Paradise and Gump are the standout parodies but the Alternative Polka was easily his best of this style and we have the awfully horrible Christmas carol of Santa going crazy to round the album out.

weird al submitted by a2sue on July 13, 2013, 9:56pm amish paradise is the best song he ever recorded

Seconded! submitted by Ilyjtwya on June 12, 2015, 7:44pm I also think this may be Weird Al's best album, also for the the same reason (the CD parodied some of my favorite newly discovered popular songs). Amish Paradise Coolio's Gangsta's Paradise, Gump - Lump by The Presidents of the United States of America, Phony Calls - Waterfalls by TLC. The POTUSofA have even integrated part of Weird Al's version into their performances. Since you've been gone is a great list of awful experiences, with a funny ending.
