Poetry of Teen Motherhood submitted by sdunav on June 19, 2012, 10:18pm This is a story in free verse of a 17 y.o. with a baby and a toddler, and the 14 y.o. who babysits for her. It's an evocative, compelling, sometimes funny, sometimes heartbreaking look at parenting, the importance of mothers (or other supportive family members), education, welfare programs, self-esteem, judgmental women, and hope.

good book submitted by graceliu on June 25, 2013, 10:32am We read this in middle school. It is written in poem form.
