Corruption, pollution, and murder submitted by bec on June 25, 2019, 8:59am Leon's Brunetti mysteries are often rewarding slow burns, and this is one of my favorites. Venice, a lively cast of characters, and Italy in general through Brunetti's pragmatically competent but not unsentimental eyes make for a reliably good read. Also, the meals will make your mouth water.
