This is a total Lie! submitted by Ryasook Park on March 29, 2012, 11:05pm Koreans were victim of Japanese imperialism for 36 years.
Nanam, the city she mentioned where her house and the bamboo were,
is 40' lattitude. It's very cold. So there, bamboo can't be grown.
And during World war II, there's no attack in Korean peninsula by U.S.
Because Koreans didn't know Japan surrendered when the war was end,
we couldn't do any revenge on the Japanese.
The writer kills Koreans twice with these lies.

If you teach this book to the children at school, you should stop it.
Because this book is a total lie.
