Directed by Academy Award nominee Paul Schrader based on his original screenplay, Master Gardener follows Narvel Roth, the meticulous horticulturist of Gracewood Gardens. When Mrs. Haverhill demands that he take on her wayward and troubled great-niece Maya as a new apprentice, chaos enters Narvel's spartan existence, unlocking dark secrets from a buried violent past that threaten them all.

OK movie, deserved better fate at the Box Office.

I looked this movie up on Wikipedia and was stunned at its tiny budget (total barely over $4 mill, apparently it's quite cheap to hire Sigourney Weaver these days?)
It did three times worse at the box office, $1.4 mill only???!!!
While it is no big deal, it sure deserved a better fate.
