COMMUNITY REVIEWS

Not as good as the first Creed submitted by brooksza on June 14, 2023, 1:06pm Overall I was disappointed by this, but I was drawn in to the climactic boxing match. Dame's backstory is an interesting way to go with the villain (although Jonathan Majors throwing away his bright future takes a different feel now).

But man, this movie looked SO bad. The color palette was drab and muted. And once again the crowds all looked greenscreened. It didn't look like any of the boxing matches were taking place in front of actual people. I do really like the setting for the Donnie and Dame showdown.

I liked this better than Creed 2, but that's a pretty low bar. These sequels prove how special Ryan Coogler's original movie was.

Still good submitted by majean on August 8, 2023, 1:08pm The plot was a little more straight forward this time with a simpler story, but it is still a solid film. Looking forward to following Amara's story now.
