Exciting action fantasy submitted by sjarvis on June 12, 2023, 6:25pm Gripping story with a lot of action; great for a fun summer read. The characters read a bit young, more for a YA audience, but there are some more adult sex scenes, so be warned. I recommend reading the paper version above the audible listen.

Finally the charm of YA fantasy, but for adults (and written by not SJM) submitted by clk.9123 on August 13, 2023, 1:49pm It’s nice to have a new epic fantasy series by an author who is new on this scale. Fans of Sarah J Mass will for sure like this one. There’s been some mixed reviews but I think if you like character driven high fantasy this will also be for you! I also found a lot less things problematic in this than in other similar books which I enjoyed.

It’s basically all the YA series tropes from the last 15 years, plus DRAGONS. What more could you want?
