Not Bad submitted by majean on June 22, 2023, 9:28pm This is definitely not a Hollywood film. If you are familiar with art house or other French films, you have an idea what you are in for. I recently read "Almost American Girl" by Robin Ha which is also about a Korean girl who is removed from her homeland and returns as an adult. It was interesting to compare these two experiences.
UNWATCHABLE! A Korean movie where they speak FRENCH, with ENGLISH SUBTITLES? NO THANKS!

WHAT THE HELL IS THIS CREATURE OF A MOVIE?
I started watching it, and it featured some Korean Actors, speaking FRENCH, with ENGLISH SUBTITLES.
Are you effing Kidding me?
If this was Vietnamese, where they DID speak French when Vietnam was a French posession, it would make SOME sense.
But it is NOT.
It is a FRENCH language movie. It may be OK for FRANCE, to be seen without the GOD DAMNED ENGLISH SUBTITLES.
For the U S market, and for myself personally, it looks TOTALLY CONFUSED AND UNWATCHABLE.
I hope I am not missing much when I stopped it after MINUTES ONLY.
I am glad I did not see this loser in a MOVIE THEATER and have to go through the whole thing or just waste my money and leave.
