Puss has burned through eight of his nine lives, though he lost count along the way. Getting those lives back will send Puss in Boots on his grandest quest yet. The notorious PiB embarks on an epic journey into the Black Forest to find the mythical Wishing Star and restore his lost life. But with only one life left, Puss will have to humble himself and ask for help from his former partner and nemesis: the captivating Kitty Soft Paws. In their quest, Puss and Kitty will be aided--against their better judgment by a ratty, chatty, relentlessly cheerful mutt, Perro. Together, our trio of heroes will have to stay one step ahead of Goldilocks and the Three Bears Crime Family, "Big" Jack Horner, and terrifying bounty hunter, The Big Bad Wolf.

Impressive! submitted by rjfernandorizzo on July 1, 2023, 9:30am A funny and heartfelt movie with some truly impressive visuals and a strong core message - not to mention an incredible cast. Functions perfectly well as a standalone movie. The bonus features are worth checking out!

Good Stand Alone Movie submitted by aynsley on July 24, 2023, 2:50pm I still kind of liked the first one better, but this is quite well done for a sequel. They chose to do most of the fight scenes in a more comic book style animation, which is an interesting choice. The sound track is good. It’s been my 6-year-old’s favorite movie for the last several months.

Keeps it interesting submitted by FordAlpha on July 25, 2023, 10:45pm I liked this one better than the first Dreamworks "Puss in Boots" movie. Some of the villains were oddly similar, and the ending was overwrought, but there were enough new ideas and clever plot elements (along with the allusions and sight gags and the mixed animation style) to keep it interesting. My kids were much amused by Puss's previous lives.
