disappointing. submitted by Tassos on April 29, 2023, 5:27pm viewing it now. Has the usual weaknesses of most Spielberg movies. I expected more from an autobio movie though. Plus both parents are miscast. Dano is pathetic as the father. Seth Rogen would make a far better Arnold Spielberg. Michelle WIliams probably looks nothing like Spielberg's real mother. The whole movie sounds really phony.

I could not stand the phony, loud, overplayed crap. I first put it on mute, and soon after I swiched to TV.

No wonder that, despite it being a film with Spielberg's name on it, it really did LOUSY at the box office.
