cute illustrations submitted by adimarzo on August 25, 2011, 9:35am Sheep on a Ship is a rhyming book about a group of sheep that head off on their ship, encounter storms, build a raft and finallyl make it to land safely. Cute hand drawn illustrations. I didn't think the rhyming and tempo were quite as good as in Sheep in a Jeep, but still enjoyable.

Sheep out to sea submitted by FordAlpha on August 29, 2019, 11:13pm Nancy Shaw's rhyming sheep are nearly sheep-wrecked in this sequel to "Sheep in a Jeep", a brilliantly simple and humorous book. Like so many picture-book sequels, this one is longer and more complex than the original, but it's still great to read with little kids. In some of the Sheep books, the verse sags with excess wordiness and awkward rhythmic changes, but "Sheep on a Ship" shines with taut, spare and sometimes tongue-tying verse.
