Good book, better author submitted by JJM.Deucher on July 1, 2023, 8:45am First novel read aloud I did with a group of 1st/2nd graders. The kid appeal of a book staring all animals with a plot, message, and morals more substantive than many similar books.

Bonus points that when we wrote the author letters he hand wrote letters back to each of the kids!
