Listen to Hot rod Lincoln and then move on submitted by Firehawk on November 13, 2023, 6:00pm It does have their live version of Hot Rod Lincoln which is excellent.
Then it goes into generic honky tonk that you can get elsewhere.
Commander Cody is really a gimmick band.
To prove my point, there is a CD available at AADL: "Three Decades of Classic Novelty Hits".
And this album covers two of them: Hot Rod Lincoln and Smoke, Smoke, Smoke! (That cigarette).

'Milk Cow Blues' doesn't age well. I'm sure it was offensive at the time, too.
With out saying it out loud, it seems to compare a Milk Cow to a woman who left him.
