The Butter Battle submitted by SBNB on June 24, 2014, 7:36pm This is another good Dr. Seuss book. I was surprised with the ending, but it is certainly good commentary on senseless war.

A More Serious Seuss submitted by candyceh811 on July 26, 2015, 9:26pm This is a great Dr. Seuss book, but it is a bit more serious and would be better/ more meaningful for older children.

As with all Seuss books, its fun to read. My son really enjoys the book and can see the humor in how a fight escalates to silly proportions.

Kind of poetic that it begins with a wall. submitted by eknapp on December 20, 2017, 2:22pm Dr. Seuss tackles the Cold War arms race. Whuff, I didn't know Seuss was capable of such a downer ending. Makes sense given the subject matter.

It's solid but not his best work.
