how to observe before painting submitted by camelsamba on August 20, 2023, 11:56pm The style of this teacher is loose expressive flowers, wet on dry, paint only (no ink). She does not spend a lot of time on basic techniques. However, there is a nice section at the front about observing and interpreting what we see in nature, how to focus on distinctive aspects of a plant rather than being overwhelmed by details.
